30 C. Jakarta Abnon Finalists Ready to Get Coaching

Central Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency has completed the Abang-None 2024 selection and determined 15 pairs as finalists. They will participate in coaching starting Sunday (6/9) up to Saturday (7/6).

Central Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency Head, Wiwik Satriani, said the selection was held in two stages. First selection was held on Saturday (6/1) participated by 208 teenagers. Then 70 participants took second selection on Sunday (6/2).

"We take 15 pairs finalists from those 70 participants," she said, Tuesday (6/4).

During the coaching, she added, the 15 finalists will participate several programs such as public speaking, middle judging, talent show and outbond.

Then they will join the night finale of Central Jakarta Abnon 2024 on Wednesday (7/17). As planned before, the final will be held at BRIN Jakarta building.

"We hope that this briefing stage will become a maturation process for the finalists, so that they are ready to become Central Jakarta tourism ambassadors, if they win as Abnon," she stated.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy's Marketing and Attraction Section Head, Endang Suryanti, explained during this training process, the finalists will take part in a series of class and practical materials every weekend. Then there are also outbound activities which will be held from Saturday (6/15) to Sunday (16/6).

"In the outbound activities, we will try to train them to be able to work as a team, problem solving, self-confidence, sportsmanship and effective communication," she stated.
